In Puerto Rico, I went to one of the best high schools. My parents put me in that school because they thought that studying there would benefit me a lot in that it would open very important doors for me, such as going to college in the United States. My school was extremely hard, but now I have come to realize that when compared to all of the schools, public and private, that many students here at Emory have come from, mine was not very good at all. Do to this, I didn't learn a lot of topics in high school, that here they expect you to already know. For this reason, most of the time I have to spend more time studying than my classmates, and I end up not doing as well as they do no matter what. This is why I always try to study and find a good place to study where I can make the most of my time.
